Agreed. The way this post turned out is just asking for a war. If you guys can't keep it mature and civil I'll have to lock it. ._.

it's not bitterness but i'm just telling what i was able to observe... and also i'm speaking in behalf of the weak ones... well sure you can take 1 or 2 boss event not all and everytime right?

Of course but, there's no rule that says you can't either... what I mean is, if you're at a disadvantage because the stronger ones are grandmasters, go make a grandmaster to compete with them for the last hit/most damage. But also, it would make sense to have the drop just be random between all the people that hit the monster in the first place.

Yes i some how agree with you but do you think i start my first character as a grandmaster? And i should say I sometime will give others a chance to gain the loot but in the end its will be other grandmaster that get the drop so like what Paws has say train a grandmaster than... All i see your post or comment are about me or laruamia so please... Change the way you talk before my next reply will go off...

I forgot to point out what Paws<3 also said. In my first week of playing this server I was also at a disadvantage state so I made characters that can fit for the events like a long ranged char, and DPS mage for the bamboo event since my friends also do that. We are all allowed to make characters we want, like I said it's all luck and be competitive. As for the weak ones someone or somebody are still helping them. And I know myself and some other players (on our guild since we're both on the same guild) I've helped some in need. Well we have our own opinion and observation. And I telling it that it was bitterness, It was my observation also.

It all comes down to strategy, some classes will have advantages over other classes. Yato explained that well in his post. For raid boss events, grandmaster will probably have the biggest advantage, while in bamboo events, necromancers or DPS rogues will have the greater advantage. It all comes down to what character fits for which event.
By the same token, it would suck seeing just grandmasters or just DPS rogues/mages in certain events, there has to be a better way to manage events than that.

Maybe event coordinators might implement rules like what classes are allowed for some certain events or what level of players are only needed to participate you know some kind of a twist.. Still kinda lame to think about it, but I think it will benefit those who seek justice from the "hoarding/greedy" players that they always complain -_- lol.

Like what Paws has say every jobs have its pro's and con's... Grandmaster may have high dmg but in pvp/bamboo they wont be the pro. And noname yes i know you didn't but all i can say there are some player out there that are so call blaming us...
And lastly how many time i saw someone asking "high-level" character to leave a summon event by a gm or admin?? And the way they say are like so rube?
If this is the"hoarding/greedy" players that u guy hate what about those player that hit bamboo tills its hp like 50% and when to other bamboo? Same logic...
Its depend on the players itself... No point of creating this kind of "war" as its like "indirect shooting" all strong player out there.

For greedy, hoarding players. There is nothing we can do about it. Bad players will be bad players. Because there are no rules that state hoarding is punishable (as of yet at least) there really is no consequence. The best thing the rest can do is compete with the "hoarders" and try to be more powerful than them, or boil it down to luck. Having level bracketed events MIGHT be a viable solution, especially if those events are below the level required for legendary items. So if Drapia was spawned, the max level could be 125, giving all players a fair chance and not those with the most powerful legendary items. Then you could have another Drapia spawn for the rest in another map or whatever. In essence you're right Mirajane, it all comes down to the players and their intentions. If they're bad players, you know not to associate with them. Greedy hoarders will be greedy hoarders until a rule comes along saying it's punishable. Until a time like that comes, however unlikely... Deal with it.

To recap, use strategy to overcome the issue of players that hoard items from bosses. Do not just go around blaming people for hoarding items, sometimes it really is accidental. Not all players are bad. If you do see someone or know someone is hoarding, tell them it's not cool, and leave it at that. Until a rule comes into effect that punishes hoarding players, you guys will just need to handle it between yourselves. Thread locked. ;3
